Freight Handling

CEVA Showfreight is the sole official freight handler of PLMA’s 2024 World of Private Label. For reasons of efficiency and control over all freight traffic on the RAI loading areas, CEVA Showfreight  is the only company that is allowed to perform logistic activities in and around the exhibition grounds during build-up, trade show days and breakdown. The use of forklifts, electric pallet trucks and other motorised freight handling equipment by other parties than CEVA Showfreight is not permitted.

Due to the size of the show, all unloading and loading directly to and from the halls during build-up and breakdown is subject to a buffering procedure.

In addition, the following special conditions apply:

  • All trucks of 8.00m and longer must be unloaded/reloaded by CEVA Showfreight
  • During breakdown, all trucks of 8.00m and longer needing to load goods at RAI's Europe Complex are subject to special loading days and times depending on the location of their goods in the building

Exhibitors and stand builders that prefer to avoid buffering procedures are strongly advised to ship their product samples and display materials in advance to the warehouses of CEVA Showfreight, as well as to store their empties with CEVA Showfreight during the show. CEVA Showfreight's Shipping Instructions and Tariffs can be downloaded here. You may wish to speak to their staff personally before preparing your shipment.

If you do not intend to ship your material to CEVA Showfreight but prefer using your own vehicle or transport company instead, please make very sure to consult the Traffic & Parking section of this portal before leaving for Amsterdam.
